Position Sumosan as a global destination for contemporary Japanese dining by executing a 360° marketing strategy that blends culture, luxury, and modern sophistication to drive brand visibility and footfall.

RESPONSE

For global contemporary Japanese connoisseurs, AUTHORITY by AVANTGARDE spearheaded Sumosan’s entire marketing plan for 2023. Under the overarching objective of maximizing footfall, we developed and executed integrated marketing campaigns spanning social media strategy, PR, influencer partnerships, and curated in-house activations, each tailored to reflect the brand’s elevated aesthetic and culinary vision.

Impact


The campaign significantly increased brand awareness and customer engagement. Social media followers more than doubled, from 3.8K to 8.4K, while content output reached 65 bespoke posts across platforms. Strategic influencer collaborations and immersive activations drove consistent footfall and repeat visits, with reach growing from 2K to over 55K. Refined storytelling and targeted digital efforts solidified the restaurant’s reputation within the luxury dining scene, both locally and internationally.
